Margaret Feinberg on The Sacred Echo

This post was written by Mel Lawrenz

In part 1 of this interview, Margaret Feinberg discusses one of her recent books, The Sacred Echo: Hearing God’s Voice in Every Area of Your Life.

There seems to be a repetitive nature to God’s voice in our life, she says….often a word or idea or feeling will occur over and over, finally causing us to take notice and act. Paying attention to those echos, and noticing the repetition, often gives us assurance that something really is of God.

Prayer, she says, doesn’t change God and often doesn’t even change circumstances…instead, it often changes our perspective on a situation and puts us in a posture of understanding that God is in control.

Margaret has written several books, including Scouting the Divine, The Organic God, Twentysomething and several Bible studies and DVDs curricula.

She lives in Morrison, Colorado, with her 6’8″ husband, Leif. When she’s not writing or traveling, she enjoys anything outdoors, lots of laughter, and their superpup, Hershey. But she says some of her best moments are spent communicating with her readers. Check out margaretfeinberg.com, become her fan on Facebook or follow her on twitter: @mafeinberg.
